About Jumeira Baccalaureate School

JBS is an IB World School offering all four IB programmes. As an IB continuum school, we offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Career-Related Programme (CP) and the Diploma Programme (DP) for students from pre-KG until Grade 12. In 2018, we introduced Character Education to further strengthen the IB educational philosophy. In November 2020, JBS obtained the Quality Mark Award by the Association of Character Education as the first school outside the UK. Character Education teaches the acquisition and strengthening of positive character traits (or virtues) which are necessary to achieve the highest potential in life. The development of ‘good character’ is fundamental to a well-rounded life and a thriving society. Therefore, flourishing is the ultimate aim of Character Education.
