Junior Accountant & Cashier

Responsibilities:

Cashier management (ticket office & snack bar)

• Supervise all cash registers (ticket office and confectionery/snack bar)
• Monitor till openings and closings (daily and by shift)
• Verify the consistency between sales system (cash register software) and actual cash receipts
• Consolidate daily receipts (cash, POS terminals, transfers, etc.)
• Managing cash register carts (analysis, justification, reporting)
• Organize and secure bank deposits
• Establish and follow strict cash management procedures

Sales tracking & operational reporting

• Track daily sales (films, screenings, snack products)
• Produce a detailed daily report:
• Ticket sales revenue
• Confectionery sales figures
• Fr quentation (number of entries)
• Analyze performance (activity peaks, best-selling products, etc.)
• Report any anomalies or inconsistencies to management

Administrative accounting (junior level)

• Enter routine accounting transactions (income, expenses, purchases)
• Monitor supplier invoices (including snacks, equipment, maintenance)
• Classify and archive the supporting documents
• Prepare simple financial statements (cash journal, expenses, income)
• Prepare the elements for:
• D. Tax returns (G50, VAT, etc.)
• Monthly closings
• Maintain contact with the external accountant or the accounting department

Formation :

• Bac +2 / Bac +3 in accounting, management or equivalent

Exp rience :

• Minimum 2 years in:
• Cash management (essential)
• Retail, restaurant or leisure environment (highly preferred)
• Experience in a cinema or a high-traffic area is a plus
