Junior Accountant

Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Junior Accountant for a Financial Services Company in Amman, Jordan.

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Follow up on clients transactions on a daily basis.
   

2. Prepare VAT and income tax computations and returns.
   

3. Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports according to the financial guidelines.
   

4. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
   

5. Assist with interim and annual audit preparations.
   

6. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
   

Requirements

1. Strong understanding of accounting principles.
   

2. Knowledge of online banking systems and payment procedures.
   

3. Familiarity with tax regulations and financial compliance procedures.
   

4. Familiarity with the financial brokerage sector.
   

5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
   

6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
   

Years of experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Accounting.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
