Roles & Responsibilities

The Auditor Accounting & Fixed Assets is responsible for independently auditing the company s accounting records and managing the audit and control of company assets, specifically company assets that are sold, rented, or placed at client locations on a consignment basis. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, asset accountability, and strong internal controls, while reporting findings directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Audit Responsibilities

  • Review and audit daily, monthly, and annual accounting records
  • Verify accuracy of general ledger, AR/AP, expenses, and revenue
  • Audit sales vs rentals vs consignment income and ensure proper classification
  • Review invoices, receipts, contracts, and supporting documents
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or potential fraud and report findings
  • Support external auditors or accountants when required
  • Prepare audit reports with recommendations for management

Fixed/Non Fixed Assets Audit :

  • Create and maintain a complete asset register for Company Assets
  • Track assets by status:
  • Sold
  • Rented
  • Placed on consignment
  • In warehouse
  • Under maintenance / repair
  • Audit physical existence of assets vs system records
  • Reconcile asset movement (assets going out / coming back in)
  • Verify client contracts against actual machine placement
  • Conduct periodic physical counts at warehouse and client locations
  • Investigate missing, damaged, or unreturned assets
  • Monitor asset depreciation (for rented/owned assets)
  • Ensure proper handover documentation for all asset movement

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Previous experience in auditing, accounting, or asset control (experience with fixed assets is a plus). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to conduct independent audits and report objectively to management. Good understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls. Strong documentation and reporting skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Ability to coordinate across departments and visit client locations when needed.
