Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Junior Broker on the Futures & Options desk at Market securities Dubai, you will play a crucial role in supporting our senior broker in the daily trading and sales tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively execute futures and options trades across multiple platforms for our institutional clients (banks and funds)
  • Actively negotiate options, inter dealer, using voice and chats.
  • Block trade on exchange to reflect inter dealer transactions

Support

  • Confirming and allocating trades to clients and following clients positions
  • Maintaining and developing tools available to the desk

Sales

  • Following market macro and micro economy, hot topics, economic calendars
  • Provide relevant information, news and analysis to our client
  • Answer any market technical question to clients and use your analysis skills
  • Generating option ideas and helping client in optimizing their strategies
  • Following market activity and big futures and options trades

Necessary mindset:

  • Hard working, dedicated and passionate about market finance
  • Social person
  • Fast thinker!!!
  • Able to overcome pressure and stress from fast markets

Preferred Skills:

  • Very good level in Excel

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Finance, with knowledge on
    • -Derivatives and listed derivatives
    • -Options, Greeks
    • -Macro economy, Micro Economy

Preferred past experience:

  • A previous position as a trainee or junior on an execution desk (derivatives or cash equity)

Language

  • English
  • French (optional)

Programming

  • Very good level in Excel
  • VBA (optional)
  • Python (optional)
