Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This role is designed for candidates who wish to build a long-term career in procurement and are eager to learn and grow within the function. Based in Muscat, the position supports the Central Purchase Team and includes structured training to manage procurement activities for:

  • Support sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for livestock, dairy, and horticulture operations
  • Assist with supplier evaluation, quotations, and price comparisons
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and documentation standards
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and data logs
  • Coordinate with internal teams on requirements and timelines
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues
  • Conduct basic market research and identify local and international suppliers

Fast learner with strong interest in procurement and supply chain operations.

  • Ability to quickly understand supplier markets and product categories.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to compliance.
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Analytical skills with ability to compare data and evaluate quotations.
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and deliver tasks within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
