Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

• Receiving, analyzing, and processing enquiries from potential customers.

• Receiving, analyzing, and processing required project data and preparing designs and quotations in accordance with current market rates.

• Providing geotechnical expertise on a diverse range of projects from inception to completion.

• Preparing opportunities, tenders, and risk management documents in Keller Dynamics for approval.

• Designing soil improvement solutions using various techniques as required, including finite element analysis, slope stability analysis, retaining structures, dewatering, and conducting accurate design calculations and technical assessments.

• Performing finite element analysis using Plaxis software for a wide range of geotechnical applications (e.g., excavation support, soil improvement, piling, etc.) using appropriate models.

• Attending technical meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities before, during, and after the project to justify Keller’s project solution approach.

• Preparing initial work schedules, estimates, and work drawings, and organizing activities for timely and effective project completion.

• Conducting site visits before submission of quotations and meeting with clients independently or assisting the Design Manager to discuss possible difficulties and bottlenecks.

• Assisting in planning resource requirements for projects.

• Assisting project managers in the successful delivery of projects by managing personal involvement or working as part of the site team for larger projects.

• Preparing work schedules, work drawings, and project documents including method statements, design proposals, and technical proposals to ensure timely and effective project completion.

• Assisting in making arrangements for project approvals.

• Comparing contract and actual cost estimates and taking necessary action if significant differences arise.

• Supporting the site operations team with design and review work at the project site.

• Coordinating with the accounts section by providing necessary project data.

• Assisting in preparing monthly reports including marketing reports, sales reports, project information, and quotation details, as well as monitoring competitors.

• Planning practical and effective methods for promoting quality, health, safety (QHS), and safe working practices.

• Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Design Manager or GM from time to time.

• Adapting and ensuring IMS standards, Think Safe principles, and sustainability requirements where applicable.

• Ensuring compliance with the Keller Code of Conduct.

• Ensuring compliance with Keller corporate HSEQ requirements as well as local branch HSEQ requirements.

• Adhering to common practices that support maintaining a sustainable environment.

• Stopping all unsafe acts and conditions through Keller’s stop-work policy.
