Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and safety standards, such as load calculations and voltage drop analysis.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry codes and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is essential for this role.
- Possess an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or be on track to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in building projects, including experience with power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes, is crucial.
