Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of off-grid solar energy solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize power systems effectiveness.
- Produce detailed engineering plans and schematic drawings for projects.
- Participate in testing and evaluation of new solar technologies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports for stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to source project materials.
- Support maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems and components.
- Contribute to the training of local teams in solar technology usage.
- Conduct research to support the development of innovative solar products.
- Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for solar projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Basic understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar module components.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design and drafting software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations and conduct site work as needed.
