Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Identify the bid requirement both technical and commercial to prepare a compliant bid.

  • Conduct site visit when required and consider any cost to be added to the tender.

  • Understand the program of work and its requirements.

  • Prepare and submit a request for information to the client / consultant to clarify any discrepancies.

  • Identify labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.

  • Delegate draftsmen for quantity take off to cross-check the BOQ quantities and schedules.

  • Prepare and combine the cost estimate.

  • Ensure the full scope is covered or proper qualification is included.

  • Attend pre / post tender meeting and capable to prepare a VE bid.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Estimation Manager.

  • Prepare requests for quotations to the suppliers / sub-contractors to obtain quotations.

  • Compare and negotiate the suppliers’ quotes to select the most competitive quote to be used in the rate build up.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Estimation in landscape industry mandatory.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Estimation from a recognized University preferred.

  • Passionate team player and driven to exceed results.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills preferred.
