Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Fundamental Analysis & Detailed Scrutiny
Perform deep-dive studies of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements to understand the "story" behind the numbers.
Calculate and interpret key industry-specific ratios (e.g., Debt Service Coverage, EBITDA margins, and RevPAR).
Assist in building and maintaining integrated financial models where all three statements are dynamically linked to ensure mathematical integrity.
Global Markets, Trends & Instruments
Track global economic indicators (e.g., yield, inflation, interest rate shifts, and currency fluctuations) and their specific impact on investment opportunities.
Maintain a working knowledge of diverse financial instruments, including equity, debt/bonds, and basic derivatives used for hedging currency or interest rate risk.
Analyze shifting consumer behaviours (e.g., wellness tourism, remote work travel) and infrastructure developments (e.g., new airports or trade hubs) to identify emerging opportunities.
Tactical AI Leveraging
Maintain a natural interest in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude) to accelerate research on the investment opportunities.
