Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and evaluating international suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods.

  • Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders and import documentation in compliance with company policies and international regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Monitor and track shipments, liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with foreign suppliers under the guidance of senior procurement staff.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and emerging trends in international sourcing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export laws and company standards.
  • Resolve routine issues related to delivery, quality, or documentation with suppliers.
  • Support the procurement team in preparing reports and analyses for management review.

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 0 - 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably with exposure to international sourcing.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of import/export procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Fluency in English
