Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and perform repairs or escalate as necessary.
  • Arrange IT related resources for new joiners based on the received request from HR or Operations team (Email, Laptop, Phone, Sim card etc.)
  • Preparing variety of written materials (e.g. procedures, system level documentation, reports, letters, operational documentation, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Trains staff (primarily within the technology area) for the purpose of ensuring their ability to use new and/or existing operating systems, application software, hardware and peripherals.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and patches.
  • Document technical procedures and configurations.
  • Assist with IT projects as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Arabic speaking is preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

  • Experience with help desk or technical support roles.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications i.e. word and excel, etc.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are desirable but not required.
