Roles & Responsibilities

The Junior MEP Engineer will assist in preparing design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves developing and coordinating HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, lighting, power, and low-current layouts using AutoCAD and Revit. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to ensure that designs are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project standards and client requirements. This position requires strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn within a consultancy-focused environment.

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (Alexandria University preferred).
  • 1 4 years of experience in MEP design and drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP for drafting and coordination.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) and electrical systems (lighting, power, earthing, and single-line diagrams).
  • Basic understanding of MEP design principles, codes, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and technical coordination.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reasonable/intermediate level of English communication.
  • Ability to work under supervision, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile
