Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source glass and metal materials, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the company.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or service levels.
  • Source glass and metal materials, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, tracking deliveries and resolving discrepancies with vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
  • Manage the procurement of glass and metal material, including related tools and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 0-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably with exposure to glass and metal materials.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the glass or metal manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
