Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Receive, review, and validate departmental Purchase Requests.

  2. Ensure completeness of request details, approvals, and supporting documents.

  3. Confirm budget availability with Finance before initiating purchases.

  4. Enter, track, and manage Purchase Requests in SAP / ERP system.

  5. Monitor document flow (PR → PO → GR → Invoice → Payment) and maintain accurate records.

  6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, and internal controls.

  7. Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for stock verification and Goods Receipt (GR) posting.

  8. Liaise with all departments for clarification of purchase requirements.

  9. Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery timelines.

  10. Support Accounts Payable team by ensuring complete documentation for payment processing.

  11. Track delivery status and ensure proper 3-way matching (PR, PO, GR) before invoice approval.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 3–6 years in procurement, purchase coordination, or ERP/SAP-based purchasing environments.

  • Must have Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred).

  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows, approvals, and budget verification.

  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments and vendors.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.

  • Professional certifications in Procurement / Supply Chain is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong ERP / SAP system proficiency.

  • Knowledge of procurement workflow, approvals, and 3-way matching.

  • Budget control and cost center allocation experience.

  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

  • Strong coordination, communication, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple departmental requests efficiently.
