Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support the QA team in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Execute manual test cases including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Create, update, and maintain test cases and test documentation using TestRail or similar tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
  • Assist in automation testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
  • Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Help validate bug fixes and perform retesting.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and QA activities.
  • Support automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.
  • Learn and explore modern QA practices, including AI-driven testing tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1 2 years of experience in QA and software testing.
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and bug reporting.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, and Confluence is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn automation testing and modern QA technologies.
