Your mission as a QA:

Manage test campaigns (integration, validation, regression)
Design test plans
Execute the test cases, either manually or via execution tools.
Detect and track anomalies
Validate the bug fixes
Ensuring the quality of deliverables

Required skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SQL is an asset
