General Description:

The Junior Social Media Editor is responsible for managing and enhancing the brand's

presence across social media platforms. This role involves creating, curating, and publishing

content that resonates with sports fans, aligning with the brand's voice and objectives. The

editor tracks trends, monitors audience engagement, and collaborates with creative and

content teams to produce multimedia content that drives interaction. Additionally, they

manage social media campaigns, ensuring timely and relevant coverage of sports events

while maintaining a consistent and dynamic online presence.

Responsibilities:

Execute social media strategies through managing posts, reels, stories, etc

Support senior team in developing and implementing the monthly action plan and content

calendar

Execute tasks on the assigned accounts on a daily basis.

Spot digital trends & follow the latest social media practices

Coordinate and handle the assigned accounts through account managers

Collaborate with creative teams to identify social media content, get insights and

information flow

Help in writing scripts for long-form video content

Posting live at events

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience delivering creative content (text, image & video), copy editing, and

proofreading experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or certified experience

Solid knowledge of the sport scene is a must

A deep understanding of digital and social media trends

Solid technical background of how each channel works and how to optimize its content

Excellent writing skills, and content creation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Efficient organization and time management skills

In-depth knowledge of social data analysis

Experience with social media management tools
