Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Proactively supports the Sous Chef in providing leadership and management of the bakery and pastry operations.
Ensures the consistent production of high-quality breads, viennoiseries, cakes, and pastries, meeting Four Seasons standards of excellence.
Develops and tests new bakery items in collaboration with the culinary team, bringing creativity and innovation to the menu.
Maintains strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and presentation standards within the bakery section.
Manages inventory, ordering, and cost control for bakery and pastry ingredients, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste.
Trains, motivates, and mentors bakery team members, fostering a culture of passion and craftsmanship.
Contributes to banquet operations with creative dessert and bakery presentations that elevate the guest experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
- College degree, preferably in Hospitality Management
- 3-4 years of culinary experience in a similar position
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
