About Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr, Morocco:
This incredible hotel project located in the capital of Morocco sits on 15 acres and consists of 13 buildings for accommodation, restaurants, lobby, located within lush gardens, in and outdoor pools and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The Role of Junior Sous-Chef:
We currently have an opportunity for a talented and creative Junior Sous-Chef to join our Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr team in Morocco!
Reporting into the chef, you will assist in leading the daily operation of the all-day dining kitchen.
Responsibilities will include selection, talent management and development of our culinary team, pl, food costs, banquet events, hygiene and sanitation, effective planning, budgeting, and purchasing decisions, policy making and inventory control, and ensuring our guests feel receive the highest levels of service excellence consistently.
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Banquet chef, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and production of meals in line with hygiene and quality standards.
- Leading and motivating the team in the absence of the chef.
- Overseeing stock organization, rotation, and supply needs.
- Ensuring cost-effective portioning and minimizing food waste.
- Contributing to a respectful, team-oriented, and welcoming kitchen environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Our Ideal Junior Sous-Chef candidate will have:
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years Sous-Chef, ideally in staff dining, catering, or hotel settings.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and service-minded.
Fluency in French, Arabic and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Morocco.
