Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The missions may include, in particular, the following topics:
- Development of a logistics master plan , optimization of transport and warehousing costs, selection of Supply Chain solutions (forecasting / planning / DRP)
- Optimization of the logistics network (data analysis and study of scenarios relating to the nature, number and size of warehouses and platforms according to product flows);
- Transport optimization / (redesign of the transport network, development of the transport plan under constraints, implementation of the control tower organization)
- Optimization of the management of industrial and logistical flows , particularly in factories or warehouses;
- Design and implementation of logistics sites (sizing studies, participation in the preparation and evaluation of tenders, monitoring of progress).
- Support in selecting and/or implementing tools for managing and optimizing workflows (participation in drafting specifications, solution studies, support for implementing software packages); IT strategy, solution selection (ERP/WMS/MES), business process redesign, assistance with information system implementation, change management
- Planning strategy , redesign of medium- to long-term planning processes (PIC/PDP);
- Industrial strategies and diagrams, industrial planning, Lean Six Sigma operational excellence , Industry 4.0, MCO/MRO, production and MES, innovation and product development
Desired Candidate Profile
You are a graduate of a top engineering or business school, or a leading university, and you are drawn to consulting and the challenges of business transformation. Ideally, you have a proven track record in consulting or in the logistics/supply chain, industrial, or transportation sectors .
You have the ability to work in a team , an open mind, an analytical mind and you wish to join a motivating professional environment where you will share the values of a results-oriented culture, quality and customer satisfaction.
The candidate must have:
- An intellectual curiosity, a sharp critical and analytical mind allowing you to quickly understand the specific needs of our clients and produce quality deliverables;
- Excellent interpersonal skills , a strong sense of service and a proactive approach to building a relationship of trust with your clients and guiding them to excellence in their major transformation projects;
- A taste for mathematics and very good analytical skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) as well as data visualization tools such as Power BI ;
- Skills in data analysis (processing, modeling, interpretation), ideally with knowledge of languages or environments such as SQL, Python or BI tools;
- Knowledge of the Supply Chain management tools market (APS, WMS, TMS, OMS, ERP components) or even experience with these software packages will set you apart positively;
- Excellent communication skills , from operational staff to management committees;
- The desire to grow in an environment conducive to personal development and wish to join human-sized teams that promote close relationships and the transmission of knowledge.
