Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Compliance Support: Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax) under the guidance of a Senior Tax professional.
  • Documentation: Organize and maintain all tax-related documentation and records, ensuring easy retrieval for audits or reviews.
  • Payment Tracking: Ensure timely tracking and processing of tax payments and periodic return submissions.
  • Data Preparation: Gather, review, and input financial data necessary for tax calculations and reporting.
  • Audit Assistance: Support the team in gathering required information and documentation during tax audits and disputes.
  • Process Improvement: Report any process issues identified during day-to-day tasks to the Senior Tax team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Tax Knowledge: Foundational understanding of basic local tax concepts (e.g., VAT, withholding tax). Familiarity with Egyptian tax law is a plus.
  • Accounting: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Language: Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
