Roles & Responsibilities

General Description:

Responsible for editing a range of sports-related events, scripted productions, and

creative video projects, tailored to the dynamic nature of the sports industry.

Manage multiple projects weekly, assembling raw footage, highlights, and computer

graphics to create engaging final products using industry-standard editing software.

Responsibilities:

Receive a brief, along with a footage outline, shot list, script, or screenplay

Assemble raw footage and camera shots, preparing them for computer input

Develop clear, effective proposals and reports for current and potential clients

Input uncut rushes and sound, synchronizing and storing them into computer files

Digitally cut files to create a sequence and determine usable content

Create a rough cut and decide on exact edits for the final stages

Reorder and fine-tune content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth flow

Qualifications:

0-2 years of video editing experience

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder; Adobe After Effects

and Adobe Audition knowledge is a plus

Experience as a freelance or casual video editor

Familiar with creating content for YouTube, Vimeo, or similar platforms

Skilled in taking detailed notes, documenting work, and executing client

directives

Strong understanding of the client revision process and handling revisions

efficiently

Good written and speaking English skills

Strong eye for visual composition and attention to detail
