Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What will you do:
- Act as the main point of contact for export customers regarding orders, shipments, and documentation
- Manage end-to-end export order processing (direct & drop shipments) from receipt to final delivery
- Coordinate with logistics teams, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely dispatch
- Prepare, review, and track export documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customer requirements, and company policies
- Monitor shipments and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to customers
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to delivery, documentation, or discrepancies
- Escalate critical issues and follow through until full resolution
- Maintain accurate customer and shipment records in ERP systems
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to support export operations
- Support invoicing accuracy and follow up on export-related customer queries
- Meet defined service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Export Customer Service, International Trade, or Logistics
- Strong understanding of export processes and international shipping terminology
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping practices is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- High attention to detail, especially in handling documentation
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and multitasking abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with professional handling of escalations
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
