Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Kids Club Attendant at Villa Haven, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a clean and safe environment for children under 12 years old, ensuring it is a welcoming space for play and learning. You will assist the Kids Club Councillors in organizing and facilitating daily activities while prioritizing the safety and well-being of all children in the club. This role requires a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to creating positive experiences for our young guests.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a childcare, camp, or recreational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices to ensure cleanliness and safety in the Kids Club.
- A strong enthusiasm for engaging with children and fostering a supportive atmosphere.
- Effective communication skills to interact with children and their parents/guardians.
- Basic knowledge of child safety and first aid is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a tidy environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to adapt to life in a remote island setting with a tropical climate.
