Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Install, inspect, and test household appliances (oven, fridge, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc.)

  2. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of appliances

  3. Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues on-site or in the workshop

  4. Replace defective parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and wiring

  5. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines

  6. Maintain accurate service records and reports

  7. Provide basic usage guidance and maintenance tips to customers

  8. Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Appliance Repair Technology

  2. Proven experience as an appliance technician or similar role

  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components

  4. Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams

  5. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
