An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely in compliance with health and safety standards.

• Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and exhaust systems.

• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and service disruptions.

• Maintain and repair laundry machines including washers, dryers, ironing systems, and steam generators.

• Monitor performance and conduct regular service to ensure optimal functionality.

• Respond to breakdowns and coordinate with laundry operations to minimize impact on service delivery.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :

• Hold a technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or appliance maintenance.

• Possess strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry systems.

• Interpret and read technical manuals and schematics accurately.

• Adapt to flexible work schedules, including shifts, weekends, and emergency situations.

• Have 2+ years of experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
