Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of ice plant equipment, including refrigeration systems, compressors, and ice-making machinery, to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance, preventing downtime.

  • The candidate must have prior experience in KTI Ice Plant and chiller system both.

  • The candidate should have knowledge of commissioning and servicing of chiller and ice plant.

  • The candidate should be multitasking in KTI

  • The candidate should know maintenance, troubleshooting & operation of MEP Equipment.

  • The candidate should have knowledge of maintenance of chiller water and domestic water pump and HVAC System.

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating moving parts, replacing worn components, and cleaning equipment to extend the lifespan of machinery and enhance efficiency.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the ice plant, utilizing technical expertise and diagnostic tools to restore equipment functionality promptly.

  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems, ensuring all repairs meet safety standards and industry best practices, minimizing operational disruptions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in technical knowledge.

  • In depth knowledge of KTI refrigerant handling, demonstrating expertise and compliance with environmental regulations.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in ice plant maintenance or a similar industrial environment, showcasing practical experience and problem-solving skills.

  • Exhibits a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and control systems, ensuring efficient operations.
