Roles & Responsibilities

Job Details:

Role: L2 System Database Administrator for Oracle & SQL

Employment Type: 1 year & extendable contract, outsourced (long term)

Work location: Any City in UAE (Candidate should be flexible to work in any city)

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a max of 30 days of notice period

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in database administration or IT support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies for databases.
  • Familiarity with database monitoring tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer).
  • Basic knowledge of database security practices, including encryption and access controls.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or equivalent, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar, CompTIA Server+ or equivalent & ITIL Foundation Certifications are highly preferred
  • Rotational shifts, including 24/7 support as required.
  • Work closely with L1 and L3 teams to ensure seamless database operations.
