Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine analysis of calcium carbonate and mineral samples using techniques like particle size analysis, whiteness testing, and chemical assays to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Perform accurate and timely testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare and standardize chemical solutions and reagents, meticulously maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation for optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all testing results, observations, and deviations, ensuring data integrity and traceability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field is preferred, providing a strong foundation in scientific principles.

  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as those related to laboratory safety or quality control, demonstrates a commitment to professional standards.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably within the calcium carbonate or mineral processing industry, is highly desirable.

  • Prior experience working in a mineral processing or chemical manufacturing environment showcases industry-specific knowledge and adaptability.
