Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing the Microbiological analysis of Food, water, cosmetics and swabs
• Microbiological & Molecular Biological Analysis of Food, water, swabs, Waste water and cosmetics in the Microbiology Department. Isolation, Enumeration and Identification of Bacteria, Virus and Fungi from substrate like Food, water, wastewater and Cosmetics samples
• Observation of results, preparing the worksheets and test reports. Reporting the unusual reports to the Microbiology lab in charge
• LIMS DATA Entry Operation
• Responsible for investigating the unusual / unacceptable results.
• Handling functions relating Microbiological analysis of Food, Water, Cosmetics and other environmental samples according to the standard specified by ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001:2008.
• Montoring of microbiological air quality inside the Microbiology laboratory
• Sample receiving and observing the Organoleptic properties & registration of the samples /li>
• Team member in Preparing Standard Operating Procedures and Implementing new methods including the uncertainty estimations and Method validations
• Coordination with internal QC/Hygiene Issues and Hygiene inspections
• Team member in Efficiently participating in the implementation of Quality management concepts in lieu with ISO9001:2008 & ISO IEC17025 series protocols.
• Internal Calibrations of Microbiological Instruments , coordination with external calibrations and standardization.
• Preparing Microbiological reports and papers, presenting results as per standards & informing failure as per Specifications
• Implementation of good laboratory practices
• Calibration and performance of lab equipment s/Balances
• Variable responsibilities are contingent on workload vis a vis primary responsibilities and Company needs.
• Ready to work overtime, weekends, shifts and during holidays.
