Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform topographic, layout, control, and as-built surveys using advanced equipment including Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and digital levels.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, set out building layouts, levels, and coordinates accurately for foundations, structures, and utilities.
  • Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and traverse networks.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, plots, calculations, and as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve site issues and ensure alignment with approved plans.
  • Monitor construction progress through regular surveys and provide data for quantity verification and handover.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey instruments; ensure data integrity and compliance with project specifications.
  • Supervise junior surveyors or assistants on site when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or equivalent.
  • 1–8 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in UAE civil construction (building/villa projects).
  • Strong proficiency with surveying tools: Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and modern software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or survey-specific programs).
  • Experience in setting out for residential/commercial buildings, earthworks, and infrastructure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to accuracy.
  • Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
  • Immediate joiners preferred; UAE/GCC experience highly preferred.
