Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to surveying works
- Supervise site activities related to land and survey operations
- Perform land and field surveys, including geodetic calculations
- Coordinate with clients and contractors to verify project survey requirements
- Deliver surveying activities within approved schedules, man-hour targets, and cost budgets
- Check setting-out, levels, and alignment to ensure construction accuracy
- Identify existing services locations and ensure their protection during site works
- Prepare field sketches to support survey operations
- Maintain complete survey records including field books, sketches, and calculations
- Measure completed works when required for verification and reporting
- Observe site safety procedures and promote safe working practices
- Assist in preparation and verification of as-built drawings
- Participate in health and safety initiatives as directed by the Resident Engineer and Safety Representative
- Perform additional surveying and site coordination duties as required

Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s Degree or a minimum three-year Diploma in Land Surveying or an engineering-related discipline
- Minimum seven years of experience in infrastructure and utilities projects, including at least four years with a consultancy firm in the region
- Proven experience using CAD software, survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to attend in-person interviews
- Understanding of construction sequences and standard industry work procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and logically with management and site teams
