Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design review of asset to assist landscape and public realm elements including planting, irrigation, grading, street furniture, hardscaping, and public open space and coordinate multiple landscape design packages.
- Assists develop scope of services for required Design Consultant.
- To ensure landscape-specific deliverables such as planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation strategies, and grading designs are coordinated and meet project brief and requirement.
- To ensure the land planning and landscape design of the Sports assets meet all building codes including City Framework standards and other standards required by relevant Sports stakeholders and Federations.
- To keep abreast of any changing codes and ensure they are adopted.
- To liaise with the Master Development Business unit and City team to ensure that the aligned to the broader City and District planning codes, standards and policies.
- To work closely with the development team as well as the Centre of Excellence Design Directors to ensure close coordination on each of the assets.
- To oversee the broader planning and integration of the assets across the City.
- To oversee the implementation of sustainability requirements in compliance with project brief assisted by sustainability team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Environmental Design, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience managing landscape and public realm projects.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of landscape design principles, public realm management, and sustainability practices.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and procurement processes effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work within regulatory frameworks and align projects with vision and policy objectives.
