Roles & Responsibilities

1. Soft Landscape Works

Ø Ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications for planting works.

Ø Review the contractor’s drawing to ensure the drawings are prepared as per ARADA requirements and design standards.

Ø Select suitable trees from the client’s nursery for the project.

Ø Monitor the planting process, ensuring proper horticultural practices are followed.

Ø Oversee the construction and shaping of mounds for planting, ensuring stability and aesthetics.

Ø Coordinate and manage the maintenance works after planting of trees, Shrubs and ground cover with the contractor and ensure Arada Maintenance standards are strictly adhered.

2. Hardscape & Landscape Features

Ø Supervise the execution of Hardscape works, ensuring quality workmanship.

Ø Oversee signage installation, ensuring proper placement and adherence to design standards.

Ø Monitor the installation of landscape lighting, including cabling and proper placement of light fittings.

3. Irrigation System

Ø Ensure proper installation and functionality of the irrigation system to support plant health.

Ø Ensure the installations are carried out as per design drawings and specifications.

Ø Ensure the irrigation control cables and controllers are installed as per required specification.

Ø Ensure all the Irrigation installation of mainline, laterals, Isolation valves, Air Vent valves, QCV’s, Solenoid Valves, Pull boxes as per approved drawings.

Ø Coordinate with Consultant & contractors to verify alignment with project water requirements and efficiency.

Ø Coordination with RO units and its operation, supply of water by tankers and irrigation pump station operation etc to ensure the irrigation system is in operation as required.

4. Swimming Pool & Changing Room

Ø Oversee the swimming pool and changing room works, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with the landscape scope.

5. Coordination & Reporting

Ø Act as the primary contact at site representing the client to coordinate with consultant, and contractor for Timely access to the areas and all other landscape-related matters.

Ø Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.

Ø Conduct site inspections, issue NCRs (if needed), and ensure rectifications are completed as per standards.

Ø Monitor progress and ensure timely execution of works while maintaining project quality.

Ø Review of as-built drawings, O & M Manuals etc

6. Compliance & Handover

Ø Ensure all landscape works comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and local regulations.

Ø Participate in final inspections and handover processes, ensuring landscape works are completed to the satisfaction of the ARADA Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in landscape construction and maintenance within large-scale projects.
Strong technical knowledge of softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems.
Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
Good understanding of horticultural practices, local plant species, and irrigation design.
Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of landscape design implementation and maintenance.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscape and irrigation drawings.
Familiarity with quality standards, safety practices, and environmental compliance.
Effective leadership and coordination skills with on-site teams.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring timely project delivery.
