Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user loads.
  • Implement security and data protection measures throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance product quality.

Skills:

  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React.
  • Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in web development, with a focus on Laravel.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining Laravel-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of PHP, OOP principles, and MVC architecture.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong WordPress development skills (custom themes, plugins, API integration).
  • Experience integrating payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) and 3rd-party services (CRM, marketing tools, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
