Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations to assess client suitability for laser hair removal treatments.
• Educate clients on the laser hair removal process and set realistic expectations.
• Perform laser hair removal procedures safely using appropriate protective equipment.
• Prepare treatment areas by cleansing and marking zones for precision and accuracy.
• Monitor client reactions during and after the procedure, providing aftercare instructions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, updating progress after each session.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and aestheticians for comprehensive skin health assessments.
• Stay informed about advancements and safety protocols in laser technology and products.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment consistently.
• Provide compassionate support to clients, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
• Promote and educate clients on additional services and skincare products where applicable.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unrestricted license in the practicing state.
• Certification in laser hair removal or medical aesthetics is highly desirable.
• Minimum of one year experience in a clinical or cosmetic dermatology setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with and understand client needs.
• Knowledge of laser equipment operation and maintenance including safety protocols.
• Ability to handle sensitive and private client information with confidentiality and care.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in treatment documentation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to a fast-paced clinic environment.
