Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise daily machining operations including lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and related processes, Lead and guide machinists and workshop technicians to ensure efficient workflow, Plan and allocate jobs to ensure timely completion of all machining activities, Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications accurately, Ensure correct use of measuring instruments and maintain high machining accuracy, Oversee fabrication and machining of components such as motor housings, shafts, sleeves, bearings, and related parts, Maintain strict quality control standards and inspection procedures, Ensure compliance with workshop safety rules and best practices, Coordinate effectively with maintenance and production teams for smooth operations, Strong knowledge of machining processes and workshop practices, Experience in pump and rotating equipment repair is an advantage, Good leadership and team management skills, strong hands-on knowledge and experience in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer, Vernier caliper, depth gauge, digital bore gauge, and dial gauge for accurate inspection and quality control.br>Basic computer knowledge (workshop reports, job cards, and documentation)
