We are hiring for a Dubai-based engineering company focused on precision manufacturing and component refurbishment for heavy industries.

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Polishing Machine Operator with hands-on experience in precision polishing and lathe-based machining operations, responsible for working on manual lathe machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-accuracy surface finishing using precision measuring instruments.

• Set up and operate superfinish/polishing equipment on lathe machines

• Perform polishing operations on components as per specifications and surface finish requirements

• Operate manual lathe machines, adjusting feeds and speeds as required

• Interpret engineering drawings, route cards, and work instructions accurately

• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and gauges

• Ensure components meet specified tolerances and quality standards

• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining methods for each job

• Handle and position workpieces manually or using hoisting equipment

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and ensure machines are in proper working condition

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

• Support general workshop activities when required

• Ensure production targets and on-time delivery requirements are met
