Roles & Responsibilities

A High profile Family in Sultanate of Oman seeks an experienced/ qualified Laundry Attendant to work in their Private Villa in Muscat.

A Laundry Attendant’s responsibilities include cleaning, pressing and folding laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for the maintenance of laundry equipment and other duties around the facility.

  • Ultimately, you will play a crucial role by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained.

  • Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothing and other textile items.

  • Segregates the garments according to the color and type of fabric

  • Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures

  • Performing minor sewing duties as needed

  • Folding laundry

  • Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits.

  • Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment

  • Ensure that the equipment’s are all working properly.

  • Anticipate and respond to queries, concerns and complaints

  • Cleans machineries and work areas at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or with proven training on the similar required skills.

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeper with background in Laundry is a must.

  • Highly organizing skills and meticulous and time management skills.

  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

  • Customer-oriented and friendly

  • Prioritization and time management skills

  • Working quickly without compromising quality

  • Good communication skills and work ethics and zero attitude.

  • Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role

  • Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment

  • Has strong will to work very flexible working hours and has the ability to work under pressure.

  • Experience as a Laundry Attendant, in a 4 star though preferably a 5-star hotel.

  • Must have basic knowledge Washing, Dry-cleaning, Pressing processes, chemicals and equipment usage.
