Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.

Comply at all times with Accor standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size.

Sort and stretch food and beverage linen.

Operate ironer to press food and beverage linen.

Size and stack food and beverage linen for distribution to departments.

Pre-treat all stained or rusted linen before washing.

Wash and dry sorted laundry.

Wash/iron employees uniforms.

  • Take daily count of all hotel linens.
  • Check count against linen requisitions.
  • Clean work area.
  • Sort dirty linen.
  • Other duties as required.
