Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry as per fabric type and instructions

  • Operate laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, presses) safely and efficiently

  • Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to the supervisor

  • Ensure proper use of detergents, chemicals, and laundry supplies

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laundry area and equipment

  • Label, store, and distribute clean linen and uniforms accurately

  • Follow health, safety, and infection-control standards

  • Support inventory control of linen and laundry supplies

  • Handle guest or staff laundry requests professionally (if applicable)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Ability to operate laundry machines and tools

  • Attention to detail and quality

  • Physically fit to handle manual work and long standing hours

  • Basic communication skills

  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays

  • Prior experience in a commercial laundry or housekeeping environment is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of different fabrics, stain removal techniques, and laundry equipment operation.

  • Ability to operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
