Roles & Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and categorize laundry items based on fabric type, color, and washing instructions to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning.
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper settings are used for each load to maintain fabric integrity and cleanliness.
- Inspect and identify stains on garments, applying appropriate stain removal techniques before laundering to enhance garment appearance.
- Fold, hang, and package cleaned items neatly, adhering to specific folding standards to promote a professional presentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a focus on practical work experience in a laundry or hospitality setting.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial laundry operations or similar roles, showcasing familiarity with equipment and techniques.
- Certifications in fabric care or laundry operations are advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Previous experience in the hospitality or healthcare sector is preferred, highlighting an understanding of industry-specific laundry needs.
