Roles & Responsibilities

Lawyer in Commercial Law, Contracts & Public Procurement


Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, analyzing, and legally validating contracts, agreements, and amendments.
  • Ensuring compliance of public procurement procedures with legal and regulatory provisions.
  • Supporting various departments in the preparation and management of tender files.
  • Identifying and preventing legal risks related to the company's contractual commitments.
  • Ensuring legal and regulatory monitoring in business law, commercial law, civil law, and public procurement.
  • Preparing legal notes, reports, and recommendations to the management.
  • Managing litigation cases before competent courts, monitoring judicial procedures, and ensuring compliance with deadlines and legal schedules.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial law, including company law and the regulations of joint-stock companies (SPA).
  • Solid knowledge of civil law and related laws (civil procedure, labor law, tax law, etc.).
  • Excellent legal writing skills in French and Arabic.
  • Analytical skills and rigor in the interpretation of legislative and regulatory texts.
  • Knowledge of tender procedures, procurement, and litigation management.
  • Good communication skills and support for operational teams.
