Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess visual aspects, such as typeface, color, position and formatting.
Examines layout proofs for quality printing and conformance to layout specifications.
Prepare templates and die-lines from scratch.
Develop utility standards and work methodologies.
Develop and present production mock-ups.
Must be dedicated, committed, on call, mature and able to handle the requirements of working at a start-up engagement.
Track and monitor engineering and design changes.

Requirements:

Graduate of Fine Arts, Journalism, Mass Communication, English degree, or its equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of work experience as a lay-out artist.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, must have detailed eye to spot errors.
Extensive knowledge of current events.
Able to prioritize to meet deadlines, multitask projects/tasks, manage expectations and dependencies.
Perform well under deadline pressure.
Able to work in a team environment.
Solid working knowledge of core software programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Solid computer skills, including online editing in both PC and Mac environment. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office.
Proactive and Possesses problem-solving skills; Has initiative to address and solve issues as related to pagination.
Preferably Filipino Nationality
