Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Operational :

1. Plan schedules, monitor, and review and supervise for all preventive/corrective works for Airfield

Lighting Infrastructure including AGL-CMS (Control & Monitoring Systems), VDGS (Visual Docking

Guidance System), SAM (Safe Control Apron Management System) and Non -- AGL building systems

to ensure smooth operations and maintenance.

2. Responsible for the planning and management of the periodic inspections of the airfield lighting

system as per ICAO requirements.

3. Oversee the purchase of all required spare parts to ensure their availability at all times.

Response and attendance to breakdown calls in time and adherence to the stipulated KPl ' s for

minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal performance.

4. Arrange proper deployment of in-house manpower and resources to ensure maximum

manpower allocation and utilization with minimal resources wastage.

5. Contractor management through reviewing of Preventative Plan Maintenances schedules,

checklists, asset lists, identify missing assets, spare parts and conducting Quality Audit Review to

ensure contractor performances are based on standard best practice, operation & maintenance

manual, statutory regulations and safety procedure.

6. Perform asset condition survey and asset performances assessment to ensure asset availability

and reliability at all time.

7. Conform and abide by occupational health and safety standard by reviewing contractor HSE

plans to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.

8. Supervise and manage of all new projects, remedial work or any other associated work to ensure

timely completion with international standard quality and conforming project specification.

9. Review all project submittals in a timely manner through checking for compliance with contract

documentation and project requirements to ensure compliance to design standards and

specification.

10. Prepare tender documents for new projects or retrofit work include preparing scopes of work,

bill of quantities in conforming to project requirement and stockholder requirement.

11. Maintain the asset data base integrity through delivering new projects in line with the

Maintenance Integration policy to ensure all newly created or removed assets are captured and

handed over on completion

12. Responsible for preparations of Standard Operating Procedures and Risk assessments

associated with works involved.

13. Conduct safety toolbox talk for all works undertaken by supervisors and technicians to ensure

all health, safety and environmental standards are met and ensure following SOPs.

14. Liaise and co-ordinates with other disciplines staff to ensure the optimum interface of the

various operational activities with the overall objective of successful completion of the

project/task.

15. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the
