Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design & Engineering Management
Lead and manage the development of civil and structural engineering deliverables for industrial oil & gas facilities (greenfield and brownfield projects).
Ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES-A, SAES-Q, SAES-L) and General Instructions (GI).
Develop or review key design documents including:
Foundation and structural calculations
Civil/structural drawings (plans, sections, details)
Concrete and steel structural designs
Building and infrastructure layouts
Site grading, roads, stormwater drainage, culverts, and paving
Provide design input for major equipment foundations (pumps, compressors, tanks, etc.) and pipe racks.
Review vendor data and construction drawings for compliance with project and Aramco specifications.
Coordination & Oversight
Interface with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, piping, instrumentation) to ensure coordinated designs.
Lead design reviews, model reviews (3D), and constructability sessions.
Support procurement by reviewing civil/structural material submittals.
Provide technical support during construction, including resolving site queries, reviewing redlines, and participating in inspections.
Site Support
Monitor civil and structural site activities to ensure compliance with IFC drawings and specifications.
Participate in field inspections, material testing, and quality assurance processes.
Coordinate with Saudi Aramco field engineers and inspectors (PID/PMT) during reviews and walkthroughs.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor civil/structural engineers and CAD designers.
Ensure timely delivery of quality engineering deliverables and adherence to the project schedule.
Monitor and control change requests, scope deviations, and design revisions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master s degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
Extensive experience with Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.
Familiarity with relevant international codes: ACI, AISC, ASCE, ASTM, BS, and Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP).
Strong understanding of constructability, field execution, and civil QA/QC procedures.
Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
