Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and design drilling programs including well planning and well design.
Review offset wells and prepare detailed well engineering plans.
Prepare AFE and monitor well costs during drilling operations.
Coordinate with drilling supervisors, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor drilling, completion, and testing activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Prepare daily drilling reports and end-of-well reports.
Support tendering activities including vendor identification, technical evaluation, and service finalization.
Ensure compliance with drilling procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in drilling engineering within upstream Oil & Gas.
Experience working with E&P operators or major oilfield service companies.
Strong knowledge of well planning, drilling operations, AFE preparation, and cost monitoring.
Experience coordinating with drilling contractors and service companies.
Good understanding of drilling procedures, safety standards, and tendering processes.
