Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Expertise in preparing unit rate analyses, BOQ take-offs, and resource-based estimation.

Capability to prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical (Equipment Erection), Piping, and Structural Steel Works for both construction and revamp projects.

Ability to develop unit rate build-ups for labour, equipment, and materials based on productivity norms and historical data.

Skilled in evaluating subcontractor and vendor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.

Proficient in preparing cost comparison sheets and recommending optimized solutions.

Experience in maintaining and updating unit rate databases, productivity benchmarks, and historical project cost data.

Strong ability to review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work issued by major EPC clients.

Proficiency in Excel-based cost models for man-hour and duration alignment.

Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Team-oriented, with proven coordination between Estimation and Execution teams.

Good knowledge of regional manpower, equipment rates, and subcontractor ecosystems

Desired Candidate Profile

Personnel having specific experience in bidding major construction jobs in the Middle East, particularly those with strong exposure to EPC/Construction environments. Previous employment with large multi-disciplinary contracting / EPC / oil and gas Construction Company in Middle East

Experience Requirements

10–15 years of experience in Estimation and Tendering for major EPC contractors and construction companies (Min 5 Yrs. of field experience in O&G is also required).

Proven exposure to Construction tenders from clients such as Technip, Samsung, Saipem, GS, and Chiyoda in the Middle East or international markets.
